PROCLAMATION NO. 661

DECLARING FRIDAY, 27 SEPTEMBER 2024, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MALVAR, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS

WHEREAS, on 27 September 2024, Friday, the Municipality of Malvar, Province of Batangas, will mark the 159" birth anniversary of General Miguel Malvar, one of the most recognized leaders of the Philippine Revolution and the Philippine- American War who was born on 27 September 1865;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Malvar be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Friday, 27 September 2024, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Malvar, Province of Batangas.
