PROCLAMATION NO. 664

EXTENDING THE NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN PERIOD OF THE PHILIP- PINE OLYMPIC COMMITTEE FROM MAY 30, 1990 TO MAY 30, 1991

WHEREAS, the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) was authorized “under Proclamation No. 408, dated May 5, 1989, to conduct a national fund campaign from May 30, 1989 to May 30, 1990;

WHEREAS, there is a need for the POC to raise more funds in preparation for the XVI Southeast Asian Games in 1991;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby extend the national fund campaign period of the Philippine Olympic Committee ap to May 30, 1991.

For this purpose, all donations, bequests, gifts. re- ceived by the Philippine Qlympic-Committee for the imple- mentation of its programs-and activities shall be free from all forms of taxeg and shall be deductiblg in-full from the income of the donor for_purposes of computing his income tax liability, subject to the pertinent provisions of Section 94 (a) (3) and (b) (2) and 29 (h) (2) (C) (i) of the National Internal Revenue Code, as amended. ;
