MALACANAN~ MANn.A BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 664 DECLARING THE EXISTENCE OF A STATE OF CALAMITY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF NASTJGBU, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS, WHICH WAS ADVERSELY AFFECTED BY FIRE WHEREAS, the Municipality of Nasugbu, Province of Batangas was adversely affected by fire on September 12, 1995, with th~ burning of its public market; WHEREAS, there is an urgent need for the declaration of a state of calamity in the area in order that the province may make use of its calamity p.lnd for the relief and other emergency requirements of the affected constituents; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, Presidet of the PhiliiJpines, by virtue of the powers vested ill me by law, do hereby declare that a state of calamity exists in the t'.1unicipality or Nasugbu, Province of Batangas. All departments and other government agencies concerned are hereby directed to implement <:md execute relief aI1d rehabilitation work in accordance ..vith existing operational plans, directives and orders issued in connection with calamities.
