IPf) fJ1f;.-f1/ MALACARANG MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO.6 7 DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM NOVEMBER 1 TO 7, 1992, AS "CIVIL ENGINEERING WEEK" WHEREAS, the government recognizes the important role of civil engineers in nation-building; WHEREAS, the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, Inc. (PICE) will hold its annual national convention on November 3 to 5, 1992, in Manila, with the theme "Strengthening The Nation Thru Better Infrastructures"; WHEREAS, there is a need to focus public attention on the importance of the Civil Engineering profession and its 'role innation-building; NOW, THEREFORE, 1, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philip-pines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do herebydeclare the period from November 1 to 7, 1992, as "Civil Engineering Week" under the auspices of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, Inc. (PICE). I call upon all civil engineers, educators and students to give the observance of the week their full support. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and causedthe seal of the RepubliC of the Philippines to be affixed.
