DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM NOVEMBER 5 ENGINEERING WEEK" TO 11, 1995 AS "CIVIL WHEREAS, the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, Inc. (PICE), is an association of Civil Engineers, both in the government and private sectors, duly accredited by the frofessional Regulation Commission; WHEREAS, the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, Inc. (PICE) will hold its National Convention and Annual Election from November 9 to 11, 1995 in Manila; WHEREAS, there is a need to focus public attention on the import~ce of the Civil Engineering profession and its role in nation-building; NOWJ THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS. President of the Philippines. by virtue of the powers vested in me by law. do hereby declare the period from November 9 to 11. 1995 as "Civil Engineering Week" under the auspices of the Philippine lnstit.1.Ite of Civil Engineers. Inc. (PICE). I call upon all c.ivil engineers, educators and students to give the observance of the week their full support.
