BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 678

DECLARING THURSDAY, JULY 22, 2004, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF TANAUAN, BATANGAS

WHEREAS, Thursday, July 22, 2004, marks the Birth Anniversary of the late Gat Apolinario Mabini, a national hero revered as "the Sublime Paralytic” and “Brains of the Revolution”

WHEREAS, it is fitting that the people of the City of Tanauan be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALBERTO G. ROMULO, Executive Secretary, by

order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare

Thursday, July 22, 2004 as special (non-working) day in the City of Tanauan, Batangas.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
