BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 69

DECLARING THURSDAY, 20 OCTOBER 2022, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF BATAC, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE

WHEREAS, General Artemio Ricarte, a general during the Philippine

Revolution and Philippine-American War was born on 20 October 1866 in Batac, Ilocos Norte;

WHEREAS, on 20 October 2022, Thursday, the City of Batac, Province of llocos Norte, will mark the 156" birth anniversary of General Artemio Ricarte;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Batac be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to the public health measures of the national government:

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare

Thursday, 20 October 2022, a special (non-working) day in the City of Batac, Province of llocos Norte.
