PROCLAMATION NO. 697

DECLARING TUESDAY, AUGUST 31, 2004, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF LIPA

. WHEREAS, Tuesday, August 31, 2004, marks the 57" year anniversary of the City of Lipa;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of the City of Lipa be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALBERTO G. ROMULO, Executive Secretary, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Tuesday, August 31, 2004, as special (non-working) day in the City of Lipa.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seai of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
