"K", BAGUIO TOWNSITE, BAGUIO CIrry, ISLAND OF LUZON, PUULIPPINES, AND DECLARING THE SAMX OPEN TO DISPOSITION UNDER THE PROVISIONS OJ! REPUBLIC ACT NO. 730, IN RELATION TO CHAPTER XI OF THE PUBLIC LAND ACT

Upon the recommendation of the Sccretary of the Departmeiit of Environment and Natural Resources by vittue of the powers vested in me by law, 1 GLORIA MACAPAGAL ARROYO, President of the Philippines, do hereby exclude from the operation of the Baguio Townsite reservation, certain parcels of land located at Lower Quirino Hills and Quezon Hills Subdivision, Res. Sec. "K", Baguio City and declaring the same open to disposition to qualified applicants under the provisions of Chapter LX of the Public Land Act, as amended, in relation to Republic Act No. 730, subject to private rights, if any there be, which parcels of land is more particularly identified as follows:

Such part or parts of the area herein declared open to disposition which under the subdivision plan are being used or earmarked for public or quasi-public purposes shall be excluded from such disposition. Except in favor of the Goveinment orauy of its branches or agencies, all land disposed of under this proclamation shall not be subject to alicnation and encumbrance for a term of ten (10) years from the issuance of title in casc of sale, or execution of contract in case of lease nor shall they become liable to the satisfaction of any debt contracted prior to the expiration of said period; but the improvements on the land may be mortgaged to qualified persons, associations or corporatious.

‘No<alienation, transfer or conveyance of any land covered by this proclamation within the period of ten (10) years and before twenty-five (25) years after issuance of title shall be valid without the approval of the Secretary of the Environment and Natural

Resources through the recommendation of the Regional Exccutive Director, DENI NCR, which approval shall not be denied except on constitutional and Iegal greunis,
