}4fAJ /qq4 MALACANANO MANaA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION 1rO. 701 AUTHORIZING THE BOY SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES TO CONDUCT NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR A WHEREAS, under Proclamation No. 508, series of 1994, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines was authorized to conduct a national fund campaign during the period from September 24, 1994 to September 24, 1995; WHEREAS, the noble and laudable purposes of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines deserve the full support of every Filipino and resident in the country; and WHEREAS, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines needs additional time ,to enable it to raise more funds to attain its laudable goal; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Boy Scouts of the Philippines to conduct a national fund campgn for a period of one (1) year, effective upon the promulgation of this proclamation. I call upon all citizens and residents of the Philippines, regardless of race or creed td actively support and give generously of their time and resources to the cause of the BSP. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
