PROCLAMATION NO. 704

DECLARING THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2004, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF MASBATE —

WHEREAS, Thursday, September 30, 2004, marks the ¥” Charter Day anniversary of the Cityhood of Masbate;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of the City of Masbate be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Acting Executive Secretary, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Thursday, September 30, 2004, as special (non-working) day in Masbate City.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, | have hereunto set my hand and caused the ‘seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
