PROCLAMATION NO. 705

DECLARING FRIDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2004, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF KORONADAL, SOUTH COTABATO

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 8803 dated August 16, 2000, provided for the conversion of the Municipality of Koronadal into a component city to be known as the City of Koronada/l and was ratified on October 8, 2000;

WHEREAS, Friday, October 8, 2004, marks the ¥” Charter Day anniversary of the City of Koronadal;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of the City of Koronadal be. given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city’s history with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Acting Executive Secretary, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, October 8, 2004, as special (non-working) day in the City of Koronadal.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
