MALACANANfJ Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 71 DECLARING AS ] THE PERIODPURCHASING J\ND 22, WEEK 1992, FROM -NQVEMBER 16 TO MATERIALS MANAGEMENT WHEREAS, the Purchasing and Materials Management Asso- ciation of the Philippines, Inc. (PMMAP), is a non-stock and non-profit organization of purchasing and materials managers from several of the country's top corporations; WIIEREAS, this November, the PMMAP will celebrate its 24th Anniversary in Manila on the theme: "Towards A Focused Market Driven Integrated Supply Chain"; WHEREAS, it is desirable that the important role played by the purchasing and materials managers in commerce and in- dustry be brought to the attention of the people; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of thePhilippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from November 16 to 22, 1992, as Purchasing and Materials Management Week.
