PROCLAMATION NO. 712

DECLARING SEPTEMBER 25, 2004 AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBAY

WHEREAS, the exhumation and re-interment of the remains of Gen. Simeon Ola is scheduled on September 25, 2004 at the Gen. Simeon A. Ola Shrine in Guinobatan, Albay;

WHEREAS, to give more meaning and importance to the occasion, it is fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Albay be given full opportunity to participate this momentous event with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Acting Executive Secretary, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do

hereby declare September 25, 2004, as special (non-working) day in the Province of Albay.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
