DECLARING TUESDAY, JULY 7, 1970, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN CUENCA, BATANGAS

WHEREAS, Tuesday, July 7, 1970, marks the death anniversary of the late Col. Pedro Pasia, educator, resistance leader, four-term mayor and exemplary public servant of Cuenca, Batangas; and

WHEREAS, the residents of said town should be afforded the opportunity to render homage to their former chief executive;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PONCIANO G. A. MATHAY, Acting Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Tuesday, July 7, 1970, as a special public holiday in Cuenca, Batangas.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
