BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 724

DECLARING THURSDAY, 23 MAY 2019, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CALACA, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS

WHEREAS, on 23 May 2019, Thursday, the Municipality of Calaca, Province of Batangas, will mark the birth anniversary of General Eleuterio Marasigan, a great Calaquefio, patriot, and one of the leaders during the libertarian movement in the Province of Batangas; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Calaca be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Thursday, 23 May 2019, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Calaca, Province of Batangas.
