MALACARANG MANILA BY ruE PIESIDENT OF THI!: PHILIPPINE PIOCLAMATION NO. 73 EXTENDING THE NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN PERIOD OF THE BOY SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES UP TO AUGUST 31, 1993 WI IEREAS. under Proclamation No. 787. series of 1991. the Boy Scouts of the Philippines. was authorized to conduct a national fund campaign during the period from September 1. 1991 to August 31. 1992; WI IEREAS, the noble and laudable purposes of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines deserve tl1e full support of every Filipino and resident in the country, and every government office and the private sector; and WI IEREAS. the Boy Scouts of the I)hilippines needs additional time to enable it to raise 111ore funds to attain its laudable goal; NOW. THEREFOII!.:. I. FIDEL V. llAMaS. President of the Philippines. by virtue of the powers vested In me by law. do hereby extend the national fund campaign period of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines until August 31. 1993. I call upon all citizens and residents of the Philippines. regardless of race, creed or nationality. to support actively and give generously of their time and resources to the cause of of the BSP, For this purpose, all donations, bequests and gifts received by the Boy Scouts of the Philippines for the implementation of Its programs and activities shall be entitled to all the tax exemption and deductibility benefits provided in the appropriate provisions of the National Internal Revenue Code, as amended, and its implementing rules and regulations.
