BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 734

DECLARING THURSDAY, 13 JUNE 2019, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF SILAY, PROVINCE OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL

WHEREAS, the City of Silay, Province of Negros Occidental, will celebrate its Charter Anniversary, which features cultural activities to be held from 03 to 13 June 2019;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Silay to celebrate the occasion, the City Mayor requested that Thursday, 13 June 2019, be declared a special (non-working) day, in culmination of the said event; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Silay be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Thursday, 13 June 2019, a special (non-working) day in the City of Silay, Province of Negros Occidental.
