ESTABLISHING AS RESERVATION FOR THE FURPUSE OF THE XPLORALION, DEVELOPMENT, EXELOTTATION AND {INTLIZATTON OF GEOTHERMAL GNMAGY, NATURAL GAS AND METHANE GAS A PARCEL OF LAND IN THE PROVINGE Cl’ ALBAY, ISLAND OF LUZON, PILCATFFINES.

WHEREAS, under Republic Act No. 5092, the Govern- ment reserves the right te undertake the explorstion for, tapping, or utilization of gacthernel snertys natural ete op pethane gas either by itself or thru ite iustrumontalities, or thru competent persons qualificd to undertake such work as indepondent con- tractor or contractors;

WIRREAS, the Valeanclogy Connission, in coopera- tion with the Bureau of Mines and the National Science Developrient Soard, has been and ie still conducting an expotinental project for the utilization of geo- thermal aiergy in a. area in the municipality of Tiwi, province of Albay; and

WHEREAS, it is to the interest uf the State that the land covered by the experimental] project und the surrounding arets be reserved for this purposc.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PEHDINAND E, mince, Fresident of the Philippines,’ upon recommandation of the Bscra- tary of Agriculture and Natursl Hescurces, and to inplenent the provisions of Section 5, Republic Act No. 5092, horeby act apert as reservation wider the administration of the Natiorel Power Corporation for the purpose of developiny, exploiting and utilizing geotherustl eleregy, & parcel 4of Jand in the municipal— ities of Melinueo and Tiwi, province of Albay, island of Iuzon, Fhilippines, more particularly deseribed and bouided, 28 follows:

Begining at a point "1", whose peograp phic position is 13° 36’ 60" latitude and 123° 35' oo" longitude, located ah the Municipality of Tiwi, Province of Albay;

Ticnee, due East, to point "2", whose peogrephic position is 13” 30' OO" lavitude and 124° 42' 45" longitude;

Thetice, due South, ty point "3", whose geesraphic position is 13° 23",00" latitude and 123” 42* 55" longitude;

Thenee, due West, tespoint "4", whose geographic position is 13° 23! 00" laidtude mid 124° 35' OO” longitude;
