AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 166 DATED 21 JUNE 1955 ENTITLED “RESERVING FOR SETTLEMENT PURPOSES UNDER THE ADMINISTRATION AND DISPOSITION OF THE NATIONAL RESETTLEMENT AND REHABILITATION ADMINISTRATION (NARRA), A CERTAIN PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF STA. INES, SAN LUIS, PROSPERIDAD, TALACOGON, BORBON AND GUADALUPE, PROVINCE OF AGUSAN, ISLAND OF MINDANAO,” BY INCLUDING CERTAIN PARCELS OF PUBLIC LAND LOCATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN LUIS, AGUSAN DEL SUR FOR’ SETTLEMENT EXPANSION AND DEVELOPMENT PURPOSES UNDER THE ADMINISTRATION AND DISPOSITION BY THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRARIAN REFORM

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and the Secretary of Agrarian Reform and by virtue of the powers ested in me by law, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 166 dated 21 June 1955 which reserved for settlement purposes under the administration and disposition of

e National Resettlement and Rehabilitation Administration (NARRA), a sertain parcel of land of the public domain situated in the municipalities of Sta. Ines, San Luis, Prosperidad, Talacogon, Borbon and Guadalupe, Province of san, Island of Mindanao, by including certain parcels of land of the public domain located in San Luis, Province of Agusan del Sur, for settlement ansion and development under the administration of the Department of arian Reform, subject to private rights, if any there be, which parcels of d are more particularly described as follows:

The area covered by this Proclamation is subject to final survey and delineation on the ground.

All areas within the resettlement project covered by public land pplications, as well as those which could be covered by such applications, hen the requirements could be complied with by the lawful claimants shall continue to be processed by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources pursuant to existing laws, rules and regulations.

All activities related to natural resources including timber utilization ithin the resettlement project shall be processed by the Department of nvironment and Natural Resources in accordance with existing laws, rules d regulations.
