PROCLAMATION NO. 749

AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 745 DATED JUNE 24, 1991 DECLARING THE MUNICIPALITIES OF CANDELARIA, MASINLOC, PALAUIG, SANTA CRU2, IRA AND SUBIC OF ZAMBALES PROVINCE, THE MUNICIPALITIES OF ORANT, HERMOSA AND MORONG OF BATAAN PROVINCE, AND ALL OTHER MUNICIPALITIES IN THE PROVINCE OF PAMPANGA WHICH HAVE NOT BEEN COVERED BY PREVIOUS PROCLAMATIONS TO INCLUDE THEREIN THE MUNI- CIPALITY OF SAMAL, BATAAN PROVINCE.

WHEREAS, the National Disaster Coordinating Council recommends that. the Municipality of Samal, Bataan Province, which suffered extensive agricultural damages caused by voluminous ashfall during the major eruption of Mt, Pinatubo, be declared under a state of public calamity in addition to previous recommendations;

NOW, THEREPORE, IT, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philip- vines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 745 dated June 24, 1991 declaring the Municipalities of Candelaria, Masinloc, Palauig, Santa Cruz, Iba and Subic of Zamba- les Province, the Municipalities of Orani, Hermosa and Morong of Iitean Province, and all other municipalities in the Province of Pampanga which have not been covered by previous proclamations to include therein the Municipality of Samal of Bataan Province.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, 1 have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
