MAL!ACANANG I :Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF 'THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 75 DECLARING THE THIRD WEEK OF OCTOBER OF EVERY YEAR AS INTERNAL AUDITING WEEK WHEREAS, our country is presently pursuing an economic program that inevitably requires the productive efforts of all segments of our society; WHEREAS, the Institute of Internal Auditors, Inc., Philippine Chapter, continuously pursues development of In- ternal auditing practices and procedures to ensure optimum utilization of private sector resources; HEREAS, the Association of Government Internal Auditorshas been revitalized to develop and improve internal auditingpractices, methods and procedures in government to ensureproper utilization of government resources; WHEREAS, Internal Auditors in the private sector and in government serve as effective management tool in enhancingproper utilization of total country resources, thereby con- tributing to the overall development of the Philippineeconomy; ! NOW, THEREFORE, I,: FIDEL V.
