BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 751

DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM AUGUST 18 TO 24, 1991, AS "MANAGEMENT CONSCIOUSNESS WEEK"

WHEREAS, it is the policy of the Government to promote management consciousness in both the public and private sectors to help achieve the development goals of the nation;

WIIEREAS, the Philippine Council of Management (PHILCOMAN) is sponsoring the 23rd Philippine Management Congress on August 22 to 23, \U9l, in Manila, on the theme “Manage Challenges Today: Progress lornorrow," which will be attended by management experts, practitioners, educators and students;

WIIEREAS, management consciousness is essential to the promotion ol better business practices, increased productivity, and improved public administration and services, which are vital prerequisites to economic development and progress;

NOW, THEREFORE, 1, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from August 18 to 24, 1991, as "Management Consciousness Week" under the auspices of the Philippine Council of Management and other concerned organizations.

1 call upon all management practitioners, educators and students to give the observance of the week their full support.
