PROCLAMATION NO. 755

DECLARING FRIDAY, JANUARY 14, 2005, AS SPECIAL (NON-

WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF NAVOTAS, METRO MANILA

WHEREAS, Sunday, January 16, 2005, marks the foundation day anniversary of the Municipality of Navotas, Metro Manila;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the Municipality of Navotas to celebrate the occasion, the Sangguniang Bayan of Navotas requested that Friday, January 14, 2005 be declared as special (non-working) day instead of January 16, 2005, which falls on a Sunday;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Navotas be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their municipality's history with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, January 14, 2005, as special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Navotas, Metro Manila.
