BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 761

DECLARING FRIDAY, 12 JULY 2019, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF GUIHULNGAN, NEGROS ORIENTAL

WHEREAS, the City of Guihulngan, Province of Negros Oriental, will mark its Charter Anniversary on Sunday, 14 July 2019;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Guihulngan to celebrate the occasion, the Office of the Mayor requested that Friday, 12 July 2019, be declared a special (non-working) day in view of the celebration of its Charter Anniversary which will begin with a grand parade to be held on such date; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Guihulngan be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Friday, 12 July 2019, a special (non-working) day in the City of Guihulngan, Province of Negros Oriental.
