DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM JULY 22 TO 26, 1991, AS “NATIONAL HOG RAISERS WEEP"

WHEREAS, the National Hog Raisers Group, Inc., is the biggest umbrella organization of hog raisers, encompassing swine associations from Luzon, Yisayas and Mindanao as well as backyard hog raisers in the country;

WHEREAS, the National Hog Raisers Group, Ine., start- ing July 22, 1991, will run a series of programs, meetings, farm visits and technical seminars on the development of the hog raising industry in the country until July 26, 1991, which will be the association's Annual Meeting and Induction, Night;

WHEREAS, it is necessary to focus national attention on the vital role played by the hog raising industry in accelerating the development of the livestock industry;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUING, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from July 22 to 26, 1991, as "National Hog Raisers Week" under the auspices of the National Hog Raisers Group, Ine...
