MALACANANG MAND.-A BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO.766 RESERVING FOR SETTLEMENT SITE PURPOSES FOR THE AETAS OF FLORA, APAYAO, CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN AND DECLARING THE SAME OPN FOR DISPOSITION TO THE ACTUAL OCCUPANTS THEREOF, SITUATED AT BARAN GAY BALASI, MUNICIPALITY OF FLORA, PROVINCE OF APAYAO, ISLAND OF LUZON. Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby reserve for settlement site purposes for the Aetas of Flora, Apayao, certain parcel of land of the public domain and declaring the same open for disposition to the actual occupants thereof, pursuant to the provisions of the Public Land Act, as amended, situated at Barangay Balasi, Municipality of Flora, Province of Apayao, Island of Luzon, which parcel of land is more particularly described as follows: Plan Swo- 133204-000263 A parcel of land (Plan Swo-133204-000263) situated at Barangay Balasi, Municipality of Flora, Province of Apayao, Island of Luzon. Bounded on the NE., along lines 1-2-3-4-5-6 by alienable and disposable area, Block No. III, LC Map No. 2311; on the SW., along lines 7-8-9 and SE., along lines 9-10-11 by Timber land; on the SW., & NW., along lines 11-12-13-14 by Timberland; on the NW., along lines 14-15-16-1 by Tamalunog Creek. All points referred to are indicated on land and are marked on the ground as follows: Point 1 by Narra Tree, 25 cm. dia.; Point 2 by Narra Tree, 30 cm. dia., Point 14 by Narra Tree by 35 cm. dia.; Point 11 by Lauan Tree, 85 cm. dia.; Point 13 by Apitong Tree, 15 cm. dia. and the rest by FR mons. Bearings true. This lot was surveyed in accordance with law and existing regulations promulgated thereunder by Cesar D. Reyes, Public Land Surveyor from February 15-21, 1993 and approved on September 6, 1994. The 40 meter strip along the bank of the creek shall be preserved as permanent forest bank protection.
