MALACANANG MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 767 WHEREAS, our aspirations for the Philippines 2000 can be effectively attained only if our people realize the great value of time and of the collective good, and not merely their individual interest, which consequently calls for a corresponding change of heart and habit. NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period April 12 to April 18, 1996 as National Consciousness Week of the Imperative for Punctuality and Respect forthe Rights of Others (Linggo ng Pagpapahalaga sa Oras at sa Karapatan ng Kapwa) .
