BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. _77

DECLARING FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 1987, AS A _NON-WORKING SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN GENERAL SANTOS CITY.

WHEREAS, Friday, February 27, 1987, marks the 48th Foundation Anniversary of General Santos City; and

. WHEREAS, the residents of General Santos City should be afforded full opportunity to fittingly op-

serve the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue_of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Friday, rebruaty 27, 1987, as a non-working special public holiday in the City of General Santos.
