BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 771

DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM AUGUST 22-24, 1991, AS "NATIONAL PRINTING WEEK"

WHEREAS, the printing industry renders invaluable ser- vice in the promotion of arts and culture, and in the des- semination of information;

WHEREAS, it is desirable to focus the attention of the public on the vital role played by the printing industry in the general effort to promote national progress;

NOW, THEREFORE, 1, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Law, do hereby declare the period from August 22-24, 1991, as "National Printing Week" under the auspices of the Printing Industries Association of the Philippines, Inc.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and

caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
