PROCLAMATION NO, 777

GRANTING THE GIRL SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES A NEW

PERIOD TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN

WHEREAS, the leadership of the Girl Scourts of the Philippines (GSP) has lined up its "Corporate Goals for the Triennium 1991-1994" in the furtherance of its objectives and purposes;

WHEREAS, the said organization, being a non-stock and non-profit organization, needs the support of the public and private sectors to enable it to attain its corporate goals for the said period;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby grant ° a new period from August 1,

1991 to July 31, 1992 to conduct a national educational fund campaign.

For this purpose, a1] donations, bequests and gifts received by the. Girl Scouts of the Philippines for the implementation of its programs and activities shall be free from all forms of taxes and shall be deductible in full from the income of the donor for purposes of computing his income tax liability, subject to the pertinent provistons of Sections 94 (a) (3) and (b) (2) and 29 (h) (2) (C) (4) of the National Internal

Revenue Code, as amended, IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand

and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
