BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 777

DECLARING SATURDAY, 14 JUNE 2014, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CERVANTES, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS SUR

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Cervantes, {locos Sur marks the commemoration of the triumphant battle of Bessang Pass during the Second World War on Saturday, 14 June 2014;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Cervantes, Ilocos Sur be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies. ,

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO Ill, do hereby declare Saturday, 14 June 2014, as a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Cervantes, Ilocos Sur.
