MALACA,NA~<;:J Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 78 I AUTHORIZING THE ynATIONAL ~SS ~UB OF THE ILIPPINES TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR WHEREAS, on October 22, 1992, the National Press Club of the Philippines will observe the 40th anniversary of the signing of its articles of incorporation; WHEREAS, the National Press Club of the Philippines as the sponsoring organi'zation for the year's celebration deserves the wholehearte,d support of all segments o,f thecommunity; NOW, THEREFORE, I, : FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of thePhilippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the National Press Club of the Philip- pines to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one year, effective upon the promulgation of this proclama-tion. For this purpose, all donations, bequests, and gifts received by the Nationa Press Club of the Philippines for the implementation of it1s programs and activities shall be entitled to all the tax exemption and deductibility bene- fits provided in the apEropriate provisions of the National Internal Revenue Code, ~s amended, and its implementing rules and regulations.
