BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 785

DECLARING THURSDAY, 19 JUNE 2014, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF CALAMBA

WHEREAS, Thursday, 19 June 2014 marks the 153” birth anniversary of Dr. Jose P, Rizal, our national hero and the 1** BUHAYANI Festival, “Buhay ng Bayani, Buhay na Bayani”; in honor of fellow Calambenos who personify Rizal’s heroism;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Calamba be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies in keeping with his ideals and teachings.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO Ill, do hereby declare Thursday, 19 June 2014, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Calamba.
