PROCLAMATION NO. 786

DECLARING THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 1991, AS "GENERAL SANTOS CITY DAY"

WHEREAS, the 25th Charter Anniversary of the City of General Santos falls on Thursday, September 5, 1991;

WHEREAS, residents of the City of General Santos would like to commemorate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies and activities;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Thursday, September 5, 1991, as "General Santos City Day" in the City of General Santos. The said day, however, shall be a regular working and school day.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
