DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM OCTOBER 1 TO 7, 1961, AS BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL WOMEN’S WEEK
In recognition of the important role being played by business and professional women in the promotion of the economic and social welfare of our country and people, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from October 1 to 7, 1961, as Business and Professional Women’s Week.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 20th day of September, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-one, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the sixteenth.
