MALACANANG MAND..A BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 787 DESIGNATING THE NATIONAL HOUSING AUTHORITY TO ACT AS THE PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR OF THE PROPOSED MUSLIM RESETTLEMENT VILLAGE AND AUTHORIZING THE LATTER TO IDENTIFY, ACQUIRE AND DEVELOP RESETTLEMENT SITES Upon the recommendation of the Presidential Adviser on YouthAffairs, Housing an~ Urban Development Coordinating Council, the Metropolitan Development Authority, the Local Govemment of the City of Manila, and the Department of Tourism, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby designate the National Housing Authority to act as the Project Administrator of the proposed Muslim Resettlement Village tasked to perform the following functions, to wit: Identify feasible relocation sitefs for the proposed Muslim Resettlement Village; 1. 2. Define coflcepts and strategies of project implementation; Formulate policies and implementing guidelines pertainingto land allocation and distribution to qualified relocatees; 3. 4. Identify and mobilize fund resources for projectimplementation, in coordination with the HUDCC and theLocal Government of the City of Manila; 5. Monitor and evaluate all phases of project implementation; 6. Tap the assistance and support services of appropriate government agencies, whenever necessary; and 7. Perform such other related tasks and functions as may bedirected by the President. In the implementation of the proposed Muslim ResettlementVillage, the National Housing Authority shall be authorized to enter into contracts regarding the acquisition and development of the property, subject to existing accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
