BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 789

DECLARING MONDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2005, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF PARANAQUE

WHEREAS, Sunday, February 13, 2005, marks the foundation day anniversary of the City of Parafaque;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Parafaque to celebrate the occasion, the Office of the Mayor requested that Monday, February 14, 2005 be declared as special (non-working) day instead of February 13, 2005, which falls on a Sunday;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Parafiaque be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city’s history with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Monday, February 14, 2005, as special (non-working) day in the City of Paranaque.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
