MALACANANG MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO.792 DECLARING TUESDAY, MAY 7, 1996 AS A SPECIAL MUNICIPALITY OF MORONG, PROVINCE OF RIZAL DAY IN THE WHEREAS, Tuesday, May 7, 1996, marks the birth anniversary of Tomas M. Claudio, a heroic son of Morong, Rizal who, as a soldier, laid down his life in the name of liberty and democracy during World War I; WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Morong, Province of Rizal be given full opportunity to celebrate this event with appropriate ceremonies; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27 of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Tuesday, May 7, 1996 as a special day in the Municipality of Morong, Province of Rizal. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affIXed.
