PROCLAMATION NO. 793

DECLARING THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER 1991 AS INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RESOURCES TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT MONTH

WHEREAS, the 18th International Human Resources Training and Development Conference is scheduled to be held in Manila on November 12-15, 1991, under the auspices of the Asian Re- gional Training and Development Organization (ARTDO) and the Philippine Society for Training and Development (PSTD) ;

WHEREAS, this congress on human resources training and development will bring into the country training directors, personnel managers, organization development specialists and others involved in human resources training and development from about thirty countries;

WHEREAS, the conference will not only contribute to the enrichment of existing knowledge on human resources training and development in general but will also provide opportunities for Filipino practitioners in human resources training and development to interact with experts from other countries;

WHEREAS, this conference will not only contribute to the country's efforts to promote our tourist industry but will also project our country as a focal point of human resources train- ing and development in Asia;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the month of November 1991 as International Human Resources Training and Development Month under the auspices of the Asian Regional Training and Development Orga- nization and the Philippine Society for Training and Development.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto sct my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
