BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 793

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, MARCH 2, 2005, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF LA UNION

WHEREAS, Wednesday, March 2, 2005, marks the 155" Foundation Day anniversary of the Province of La Union;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of La Union be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their province's history with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, March 2, 2005, as special (non-working) day in the Province of La Union.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
