MALACANAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 80 DECLARING THE MONTH OF OCTOBER 2016 AS VOLLEYBALL MONTH WHEREAS, the Philippine Super Liga (PSL) will host the 2016 Federation Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) Women's Club World Championship (WCWC) on 18 to 23 October 2016 in Metro Manila; WHEREAS, it is desirable to focus national attention on the event and stimulate greater awareness and involvement of all sectors of Philippine society in the aforesaid sport; NOW, THEREFORE, I, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the month of October 2016 as "Volleyball Month," IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
