GRANTING THE PHILIPPINE TUBERCULOSIS SOCIETY, INC., A NEW PERTOD TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL AND

FUND CAMPAIGN FROM JANUARY 2, 1992 TO DECEMBER 31, 1992

WHEREAS, the Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Inc, primarily depends on the support of both the public and

private sectors in the conduct of its services and programs;

WHEREAS, the authority granted to the said Society

to conduct a fund campaign will expire on December a1, 1991;

WHEREAS, to pursue its humanitartfan projects and services, the Society needs the ec assistance of the community;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested {n me by law, do hereby authorize and grant the Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Inc., a new period to conduct a national educational and fund campaign from January Zz 1992 to December 31, 1992.

I call upon all residents regardless of race or creed, including the public and private institutions to lend support and assistance to the Society.

For this purpose, all donations, hequests and gifts received by the Philippine Tuberculosis society, Inc., for the implementation of its programs and activities shall be free from all forms of taxes and shall be deductible in full from the jncome of the donor for purposes of computing the income tax liability, subject to the pertinent provisions of Sections 94 (a) (3) and (b) (2) and 29 (h) (2) (¢) (4) of the National Internal Revenue Code, as amended,
