BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 822

DECLARING FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 1991, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN BORONGAN, EASTERN SAMAR

WHEREAS, Friday, November 15, 1991, marks the 12lst birth anniversary Of the late Don Bugenio S. Daza;

WHEREAS, Don Eugenio S. Daza rendered invaluable service +9 our country and to the Filipino people as a teacher, revolutionary leader, and legislator;

WHEREAS, Don Eugenio 8. Daza, as a Major, was the overall Commander of Revolutionary Forces in the Bast Coast of Samar during the 1896 Philippine Revolution and the Brain of the Balangiga “Massacre” Encounter;

WHEREAS, Don Eugenio §S. Daza's achievements deserve honor and remembrance, and should forever remain in the hearts ef the Filipine people;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Revised Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby denlare Friday, HGYERDEE 15, 1991, a special day in Boroéngan, Eastern Samar.

caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
