MALACANANG Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHII-IPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. s: DECLARING TUESDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2010, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF VIRAC, PROVINCE OF CATANDUANES WHEREAS, Tuesday, December 7, 2010, t-:^r:rrks the celebration of "Kaaldawan Nin Virac" of the Municipality of Virac, Prc';iirce of Catanduanes; WHEREAS, "Kaaldawan Nin Virac" is a culturai event set to coincide with the celebration of the town fiesta that will encourage ar;tive participation of the 63 barangays in Virac, as well as non-government organizations, civic organizations and other line agencies in various phases of events thi:t have both religious and historical significance and will ultimately pave the way for the promotion and advancement of the tourism industry, which is a big so'rrce of revenue; WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the 1:ec'ple'of the Municipality of Virac, Catanduanes be given full opportunity to celel:rate the occasion with approprrate ceremonies.
