VINCES OF NUEVA VIZCAYA AND MOUNTAIN PROVINCE

WHEREAS, additional disaster reports reveals that in the Previtice of NWeva Vizeaya, several bridges were washed out and roacés leading to or passing Dalton Pass and these gaing to Kayana were rendered impassable due to landslides and road blocks;

WHEREAS, Mountain Province was totally isolated due to mas-— Sive landslides and roadslips, power lines were knocked down,

rice lands along river banks were flooded and school builidings/ residential houses were blown off;

WHEREAS, to facilitate tha nermalization of conditions in the typhoon-stri¢ken areas, the National Disaster Coordinating Council recommends the declaration of a state of public calamity in the two provinces;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON Cc, AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby further amend Proclamation No. 823, dated October BQ: i391, as amended, which declared a state cf public calamity in certain previnces and cities in Regions 1, It and the Cérdillera Administrative Reqion which suffered from the effects of typhoon "Trining" t® inelude therein the provinces of Nueva Vizcaya and Mountain Province which were also hit by typhoon "Trining".
