• MALACANANG Manila BY 7'HE PRESIDENT OP THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO 848 DECLARING THE EXISTENCE OF A STATE OF CALAMITY IN MUNICIPALITY OF ANTEQUERA, BOHOL, WHICH ADVERSLY AFFECTEP BY FIRE THEWAS WHEREAS,. a fire of still undetermined origin hit the municipal building of the Municipality of Antequera,Bohol, on May 6, 1996; WHEREAS, there is a need for the declaration of a state of calamity in the area ill order that the pro- vince may rnakG use of its calamity fund for the relief and other emergency requirements of the affectedconstituents; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS,President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare that a state of public cala- mity exists in the Municipality of Anr.equera, Bohol. All departments and other government agencies con-cerned are hereby directed to implement and executerelief and rehabilitation work in accordance with exist- ing operational plans, directives and orders issued in connection wi.th calamities.
