CREATING AND DESIGNATING A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED AT BARANGAY PAWING, PALO, LEYTE, AS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PARK PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916 AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO.8748

Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act No. 7916, otherwise known 2s the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995 as amended by Republic Act No. 8748 (An Act Amending Republic Act 7916, otherwise known as the “Special Economic Zone Act of 1995”) and upon the recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, do hereby create and designate, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 791g as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and Resolution No. 00-411 dated 29 December 2000 as amended by Resolution No. 04-295 dated 20 September 2004 and Resolution No. 04-372 dated 08 November 2004, of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, an area located at Barangay Pawing, Palo, Leyte, as Information Technology Park, consisting of Thirty Six Thousand Three Hundred Five (36,305.00) Square Meters, more or less, as defined by the following technical description:

Lot 10950-B Csd-08-007367-D Leyte Academic Center A parcel of land (Lot No. 10950-B of the subdivision plan Csd-08-007367-D; being a portion of Lot 10950 of the Palo Cadastre situated in the Barrio of Candahug, Municipality of Palo, Island of Leyte. Bounded on the NE., along lines 5-1, on the SE., along line 1-2, and on the SW., along lines 2-3, all by Lot 10950- C of the subdivision plan; and on the NW., along lines 3-4-5 by national road.
