PROCLAMATION NO. 869

RESERVING FOR SCHOOL SITE PURPOSES OF THE PHILIPPINE CRAFTSMEN SCHOOL, A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN BRGY. MAGARA, MUNICIPALITY OF ROXAS, PROVINCE OF PALAWAN, ISLAND OF PALAWAN

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources, and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from entry, sale, disposition or settlement and reserve for school site purposes of the PHILIPPINE CRAFTSMEN SCHOOL under the administration of the Department of Education, a certain parcel of land of the public domain located at Brgy. Magara, Municipality of Roxas, Province of Palawan, Island of Palawan, containing an area of TWENTY NINE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED NINETY THREE (29,293) SQUARE METERS, subject to private rights, if any there be, which parcel of land is more particularly described as follows:

LOT NO. 2751, CAD-862-D, CASE 10

A PARCEL OF LAND (Lot No. 2751, Cad-862-D, Case 10, being a portion of Lot 1032, Pls-7980, situated in Brgy. Magara, Municipality of Roxas, Province of Palawan, Island of Palawan.

Bounded on the East, along lines 7-1-2-3 by National Road; on the North, along line 3-4 by Lot No. 2950; on the East, along lines 4-5-6 by Road; and on the South, along line 6-7 by Road.

Beginning at a point marked “1” on plan being S.65 deg. 07’ W., 16,373.25 meters from BLLM No. 1, Roxas Cadastre, thence:

N. 61 deg. 39’E., 100.32 m. to pt. 2;

N. 09 deg. 43’ W., 109.21 m. to pt. 3;

S. 70 deg. 23’ E., 188.06 m. to pt. 4;

• beginning, containing an area of TWENTY NINE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED NINETY THREE (29,293) SQUARE METERS, more or less.

All points referred to are indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground by P.S. Cyl. Conc. Mons. 15 x 60 cm. Bearings True; Date of Original Survey: January 5 to June 30, 1987 by Geodetic Engineer Nestor F. Falcotelo in accordance with the law and existing regulations promulgated thereunder and approved on November 7, 1988.

The tracts of land herein reserved shall be non-alienable and shall not be subject to occupation, entry, sale, lease or other mode of disposition until again declared by the President as alienable and disposable through Proclamation.

The Department of Education shall have administrative jurisdiction over the area and by virtue of this proclamation may pursue further action leading to the grant of a special patent to the land reserved herein in favor of the Republic of the Philippines.
