BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 870

DECLARING MONDAY, 06 JANUARY 2020, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAUANG, PROVINCE OF LA UNION

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Bauang, Province of La Union will mark the celebration of the Baggak Festival Bauang Founding Anniversary on 05 January 2020;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the Municipality of Bauang to celebrate the occasion, the Sangguniang Bayan requested that Monday, 06 January 2020, be declared a special (non-working) day in lieu of 05 January 2020, which falls on a Sunday; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Bauang be given full opportunity to participate and celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, |, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Monday, 06 January 2020, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Bauang, Province of La Union.
